As you understand what caused the emotion and how it is impacting you (mentally and physically), then you have to determine what your next steps are. Whether you’d like to express it or you’d like to keep it to yourself. You also need to assess the consequences of this decision.
This decision is not just dependant on what you’re going through but also depends on the surroundings – people and the environment.
While this all seems to be a very lengthy process, trust me, we all do this numerous times each day and many a time, all this happens in a fraction of a second.
